Working with the mobile app

This guide shows how to perform everyday actions in the mobile app. If the app is not installed yet, see Download and installation.

Launch the app and sign in with the same Email and Password you use on the website, then tap Login. On the first sign-in, a short setup wizard may appear — you can go through it or skip it.

At the bottom of the screen there is a bar of five tabs:

  • Dashboard — the home screen with quick actions (in particular, the check-out, check-in, and move operations).
  • Employees — a list of people and the assets assigned to each of them.
  • Scanner — the central round button for scanning a QR code or NFC tag.
  • Assets — a list of assets with search.
  • Menu — locations, audits, inventory, modules (tickets, work orders, licenses), settings, and profile.
  1. Tap the central Scanner button on the bottom bar.
  2. To read a QR code, point the camera at the asset’s tag — the app recognizes the code automatically.
  3. To read an NFC tag, tap the floating NFC button (available if the device supports NFC) and hold the phone to the tag. If NFC is turned off in the system, the app will ask you to enable it in the device settings.
  4. After a successful scan, the card of the corresponding record opens — it can be an asset, an employee, a location, an inventory item, or a license — where you can view the data and perform operations.

The scanner is also invoked from other screens — for example, when adding an asset to an operation or when marking an asset in an audit. For creating and linking tags, see Tags.

  • Open the Assets tab, find the asset you need, and open its card to see the asset’s data, its current state, and its holder.
  • Open the Employees tab and select a person to see the assets assigned to them.
  • In the Menu section, open Locations and select a location to see which assets are listed in it.

Checking out, returning, and moving assets

Section titled “Checking out, returning, and moving assets”

These operations are started from the Dashboard screen (quick actions) or from a specific asset’s card:

  • Check Out — hand an asset to an employee. Select an employee, add assets (from the list or by scanning), and, if needed, set a return date.
  • Check In — return an asset to a location. Specify the target location and add the assets being returned.
  • CheckIn/CheckOut — move assets between locations. Specify the source location and the target location.

During an operation you can record the asset’s state. Tap Save to create the operation. What these operations mean and how they are reflected in the system is described in Asset operations.

  1. Open the Menu and go to Audits.
  2. Select an assigned audit from the list.
  3. Scan each asset’s tag or mark it manually — the asset moves to the list of checked items.
  4. If needed, record the asset’s state.
  5. The audit screen shows how many assets are planned, how many have already been checked, and how many remain.

For more on how audits are created and results are processed, see Audits.

Data is cached on the device, so you can scan assets, open cards, and create operations even without a network connection. The changes you make are queued and synced automatically as soon as a connection is available. The amount of data cached in advance is configured in the app in the offline mode section.
