Licenses reference

License fields
Section titled “License fields”Fields of the license creation and editing form (the Main block).

The Assign block (only when creating): a Storage Location / Employee / Asset toggle and a field to pick the specific recipient.
The License Keys block: an Enter license numbers/keys toggle and a field to enter keys one per line.
The Manufacturer and Seller fields are not entered in the form, but they appear on the license card (the Details tab) if set.
Seat states

License statuses
Section titled “License statuses”The status is computed automatically from the Expires At field.

The “Licenses” tab on an employee and an asset
Section titled “The “Licenses” tab on an employee and an asset”The employee and asset cards have a Licenses tab (visible only when the module is enabled). Columns:

If there are no assignments, “No licenses assigned” is shown.
Dashboard widget
Section titled “Dashboard widget”The Expiring Licenses widget in the Analytics section lists licenses with an upcoming or past expiration date and shows how many days are left. If there are no such licenses, “No expiring licenses” is shown.
Access permissions
Section titled “Access permissions”The “Licenses” module has no separate permissions — it uses the asset permissions (assets.*):

Permissions are granted through a user’s role. The module itself is enabled in Settings → Modules (see Modules).
