Labels reference

The factual list of actions, fields, and settings of the Labels module. For step-by-step actions, see Working with labels and Setting up labels.

The set of items depends on whether the record has an active code.

Both dialogs have a label preview, a Print button (the browser print dialog), and Download PDF. Printing goes through PDF; no special driver or direct connection to a thermal printer is required.

Bindings are available in the Binding list of a text element in the Template designer.

System presets cannot be edited. Managing custom presets in Settings → Labels is not currently exposed in the interface — the General block and the Lost & found and Templates tabs are available.

If the page is off or the code is not active, the finder sees only a general message without contacts.

A single record gets no more than 5 codes over its whole lifetime (the default value; the limit can be changed for a company). Revoked codes count too, so replacing a label many times uses up the limit. When it is reached, a new code cannot be created — the system reports “The limit of … codes per object has been reached”.
